Installing BIMeta Desktop Apps

BIMeta desktop apps install with a standard Windows setup program (…-Setup.exe or .msi). Most install per-user and need no administrator rights.
Install
- Download the installer from Downloads or the link your administrator sent.
- Double-click it and follow the wizard. Tick optional extras such as a desktop icon or file associations if you want them.
- Launch the app from the Start menu and sign in with your BIMeta account.
“Windows protected your PC”
Newer or unsigned builds can trigger Microsoft Defender SmartScreen. If the installer came from BIMeta, click More info → Run anyway. If you're not sure where a file came from, don't run it — contact support.
System requirements (most apps)
- Windows 10 (version 1809 or later) or Windows 11, 64-bit
- An internet connection at least once every 7 days
- A BIMeta account
Uninstall
Open Settings → Apps → Installed apps, find the BIMeta app and choose Uninstall. Your BIMeta account and files stored elsewhere are not affected.
