How to Import Hatch Patterns into Revit

Steps

  1. In Revit, go to Manage → Additional Settings → Fill Patterns.
  2. Choose Drafting or Model, then New → Custom → Import.
  3. Browse to the .pat file you exported from Hatch Viewer and pick the pattern.
  4. Click OK.

Keep your own patterns in a separate .pat file rather than editing the bundled ones.
