Tool Palette

This button is ideal whenever doing any type of mechanical, electrical or plumbing work. By utilizing our tool palette, you can easily navigate through the components already pre-loaded into your Revit file. This procedure is applicable in Revit 2018 to the current release.

Step 1: To begin, navigate to the BIMeta tool bar and click down to Tool Palette.

Step 2: Once you have clicked on the Tool Palette Icon, you will be shown a tool Palette of several Mechanical fixtures, Plumbing Fixtures, and Electrical Fixtures pre-loaded into your file. Please Note: If your tool palette is 100% completely empty, save your file and try to restart Revit. The error should be corrected.

Step 3: After you have navigated your way to the physical component, double click on that object to be able to place and/or layout the design/component you wish. You will also see a preview to the right of the screen.
