BIMeta Structural Engineering Suite: Overview

The Structural Engineering Suite is a desktop set of structural calculators plus a graphical 2D frame modeller. It covers steel beams and columns, joists and trusses, loads, and screening checks for connections, concrete, masonry and wood, and exports HTML calculation reports. All work is local and in imperial units.

This is an alpha release. Modules marked Screening on the dashboard use simplified checks — verify final designs separately.

What you can do

  • Modules: Beam and Column Analysis, Load Generator, Frame Modeler, Connections, Base Plates, Anchor Bolts, Composite Beams, Joists, Deck Design, Concrete, Masonry, Wood, Wind and Seismic Loads, Optimizer, Reports
  • Searchable local AISC shape catalog
  • Frame Modeler: first-order linear-elastic analysis with deflected, axial, shear and moment views
  • Joist & Truss Studio: K, LH, DLH, CJ and G joists and 11 truss geometries
  • Report Builder exports every calculation from the session to HTML
