How to Access BIMeta Mail: Webmail and Device Setup

BIMeta Mail is our company email system. You can reach it in two ways: through a browser as full-featured webmail, or by connecting a desktop or mobile mail app. This article covers both.

Option 1: Webmail (bimeta.email)

The fastest way to check your email is the webmail client. No setup is required — just a browser.

Go to bimeta.email in any browser.
Sign in with your full email address ([email protected]) and your mailbox password.
You land in your Inbox, with Calendar, Contacts, and Files available from the left-hand app rail.

Option 2: Connect a Mail App or Device (connect.bimeta.email)

Use this for desktop mail apps (Outlook, Apple Mail, Thunderbird) or your phone's built-in mail app. Go to connect.bimeta.email to get the settings below, or copy them from here.

Incoming Mail (IMAP — recommended)

Server: mail.bimeta.email

Port: 993
Security: SSL/TLS
Username: your full email address

Outgoing Mail (SMTP)

Server: mail.bimeta.email
Port: 465 (SSL/TLS), or 587 with STARTTLS
SMTP authentication: must be enabled, using your full email address and password

Optional: POP3 (downloads mail, doesn't sync read/folder status): port 995, SSL/TLS, same username/password.

Adding the account manually

In your mail app, choose "Other" or "Manual setup" and select IMAP for the best multi-device experience.
Enter your full email address as the username, e.g. [email protected].
Enter the incoming and outgoing server settings above. Keep certificate validation on — never accept an invalid certificate.
Enable outgoing (SMTP) authentication, using the same email address and password as incoming mail.

Security reminder: BIMeta will never ask you to paste your password into a web page. Before signing in anywhere, verify the server name is exactly mail.bimeta.email.

Advanced: modern sync protocols

Apps that support these protocols can discover mail, calendar, and contacts automatically:

Which should I use?

Webmail (bimeta.email): quickest option, works on any device with a browser, nothing to configure.

Mail app with IMAP: best if you want email in Outlook, Apple Mail, or your phone's mail app, with folders and read status kept in sync across all your devices.
